Before I read this, Trent was my favorite Lawson brother. I can honestly say, Logan took that spot from him big time. I didn’t think it was possible, but boy did it happen.
Logan is his funny, seemingly carefree self in this book. But you see what is behind the facade. You learn about his pain, and how he pushes through by playing the carefree playboy. And then we meet Aster, and we learn why he is the way he is.
Aster hasn’t been tough most her life, ’til she finally finds her backbone and learns to stick up for herself, and for what she wants out of life. It takes her a bit, but she finds it. It takes Logan a little bit to look passed their past, and same with Aster, but eventually they both do, and boy is it fire.
These two are hot together. You feel their connection in the book, and how even though they both were heartbroken, that they were meant to be together. This book made me feel all the feels. I definitely cried and had a hard time putting it down. This is definitely my favorite in the Redemption Hills series (and honestly, after Trent, I never thought I would find one I liked more). Definitely worth reading!!
